The Project Executive provides executive leadership for major healthcare construction programs, overseeing strategy, client relationships, team performance, and successful delivery from concept through occupancy.

Serving as the senior representative for JAX Project Management, this role ensures alignment between client vision, regulatory requirements, and project execution across large, complex healthcare environments. The Project Executive leads multiple project teams simultaneously, acts as a trusted advisor to healthcare executives, and mentors internal leaders to drive excellence in safety, quality, cost, schedule, and long-term client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
Executive Leadership & Strategy
  • Provide executive oversight for healthcare programs from early planning through construction and turnover.
  • Lead project strategy during feasibility, planning, and preconstruction to align scope, schedule, and budget with client goals.
  • Guide selection and execution of delivery methods (CM-at-Risk, Design-Build, Owner’s Rep) based on risk, complexity, and regulatory context.


Client, Financial & Risk Management
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for healthcare executives, boards, and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee contract development, negotiations, procurement strategy, and financial performance.
  • Monitor portfolio-level performance metrics, including cost, schedule, safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Drive proactive risk management, change control, and financial closeout across projects.


Healthcare Delivery & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory requirements (HCAI/OSHPD, CMS, TJC, NFPA, ICRA).
  • Support teams delivering complex phasing, occupied-campus construction, and critical clinical infrastructure.
  • Maintain consistent standards for safety, quality, and constructability across all projects.


Team Development & Continuous Improvement
  • Mentor Project Executives, Project Managers, and Construction Managers to build leadership capability and accountability.
  • Promote continuous improvement, lessons learned, and best practices across healthcare programs.
  • Support business development efforts through trusted client relationships and consistent project success.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 15+ years of progressive construction experience, including 8+ years in senior healthcare leadership roles.
  • Proven success delivering large-scale healthcare programs or campus redevelopments ($100M+).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple concurrent projects and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Deep expertise in healthcare regulations, financial management, contracts, and risk analysis.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage boards, healthcare leadership, and field teams.
  • Proficiency with industry tools and systems (Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Experience across CM-at-Risk, Design-Build, IPD, or program management delivery models.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certifications (CCM, PMP, DBIA, LEED AP).
  • Experience leading hospital expansions, replacement facilities, or multi-site capital programs.
  • Familiarity with Lean Construction, BIM/VDC, and digital project delivery.
